Welcome 2026 Summer Interns

We're excited to welcome two talented engineering students from the University of Missouri to Schaefer Engineering this summer!

🔹 Colin Warner, a Mechanical Engineering student, will be supporting our Accident Reconstruction and Mechanical Engineering teams.

🔹 Blaine Penny, an Electrical Engineering student and student leader with IEEE, will be assisting with technology initiatives including X-Ray implementation, photogrammetry, and process standardization.

Both interns will gain hands-on experience in our labs, at field examinations, and with advanced technologies including FARO 3D scanning and digital radiography.

We're looking forward to helping them develop their skills while introducing them to the exciting world of forensic engineering. Welcome to the team, Colin and Blaine!
