Schaefer Engineering continues to advance forensic technology with the implementation of our industry leading video monitoring, streaming, and recording system purposely designed and built for forensic investigations and evidence examinations.

Real-time online video streaming enables seamless participation in detailed evidence and component examinations from remote locations, ensuring seamless collaboration and eliminating delays due to logistical challenges.

Our facility features 4K PTZ (Precision Pan, Tilt & Zoom) cameras strategically positioned throughout our main, metallurgical, and high bay laboratories. These high-performance cameras, paired with 85” 4K monitors, present detailed, magnified views of ongoing activities without overcrowding the work area. Multiple artifacts and activities can be monitored simultaneously, enhancing efficiency for both in-person and remote participants.

The custom-built system supports a wide range of interchangeable video sources including multiple cameras, microscopes, computer-based resources, and even guest device sharing from iPads, iPhones, and other devices.

In addition, our well equipped laboratory facility is available for rent, allowing clients to utilize this advanced video and examination equipment for their own investigations, testing, or collaborative examinations.
